"Wards Edwards’ advice and guidance have been of the utmost importance to Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity as we move forward in our mission of eliminating sub-standard housing from southern Beaufort County and Jasper County. The engineering work done by Wards Edwards for Brendan Woods in Bluffton has allowed our Habitat affiliates to build sixty-one houses since 2000. Ward Edwards’ contribution to the success of Habitat’s mission cannot be understated. Their expertise and guidance have produced in Brendan Woods a community that is vibrant and successful, with families living the American dream of homeownership."
-Patricia Carey Wirth, Executive Director Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity

The oldest standing brick fortification in the state, Old Fort Jackson has been a part of Coastal Georgia's history for nearly two centuries. One of only five such
forts in the country, Fort Jackson is a National Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Sites.
In preparation for additional improvements to this important historic landmark, the National Register engaged Ward Edwards. After quantifying the needs of the
Historic Register, Ward Edwards formulated a plan to improve the current site while protecting its historic heritage. Ward Edwards provided a boundary and topographic survey showing the existing structures and available undisturbed land on the seven acre site.
